Hi guys! How is July treating you so far? Its gonna be August real soon!

This nail art is really easy to do and its very cute. I really love it. When i put my hands up against the sky, and move them, i feel like i'm seeing real clouds move. Aren't they adorable?

I used Faceshop blue and white nail polish!
I didn't use any equipment to do the nail art, i just used the brush to dab it slowly to make it into clouds. You can try to dap it in a up down motion.

Comparison Greens

Left to right: Opi's Mermaid Tears, Essie's Mint Candy Apple, Faceshop's GR503, Opi's Mermaid Tears

Today i'm doing a comparison of the above polishes.

Actually Essie's and Faceshop's colour is very similar in real but the price varies around SGD$5-6.

But i love all the different tones of greens.

What do you guys think?

And any suggestions of nail arts for me to do??

Pokeball Nail

Today i did this Pokeball inspired nail. Inspired from the renowned POKEMON.
I really loved the color combination. I'm planning to do a nail art on all the diferent types of Pokeballs
Like Masterball, Ultraball, etc.

Meanwhile, for this nail I used Faceshop's white,red and black and DearFace's silver color for the centre of the Pokeball. I used to be a Pokemon fan in the past.

What's Pokemon's most frequently used phrase:

Captain America

On my previous nail art post, i did a nail art on the US flag over here.
Today i'll be showing you a Captain America's Inspired nail art!

My main theme of the nails were Captain America, an idea my friend gave me.
I really loved the shield and so i decided that it would be a nail art about the shield and US flag.
Since the colours match each other.

I used the same colours i used for the US' Flag in the previous post here.
For the index and middle finger i just did a little bullseye kinda design on the nail with the shield's design.
For the ring finger i painted Dating a Royal by opi and added stars on it.
The babyfinger was more of the middle of the shield :)
And the thumb was the design from the previous post.

4th Of July American Flag

This is my 2 weeks late 4th of July nail art.
Actually the 4th of July is United States Independence day.
I really love the color combination of red,white and blue.
I used Faceshop's White, OPI's Paint my moji toes red and Dating a Royal for the dark blue.
I just added some random stars on the blue portion.. However i'm unable to have too many cause my thumb is small. HAHA

No matter what, i still love the colour combinations.
What do you guys think?

My next nail art post will be on Captain America!

Incognito with Konad

Today i used Konad plate to do the flowers on the previous post Incognito. 

It is supposed to be a beautiful nude color but it seems more of a pink than nude !!

The actual colour is definitely prettier.

I used white for the flowers.

And topped it up with a matte topcoat i newly got from Etude House at around SGD$10.

The different between the 2 pics are glossy and matte!!

I've recently ordered a new batch of Kleancolor Nail Polish. I hope they arrive soon and i'll get to show them to all of you.

Meanwhile, i'm very busy with school and work.

I've been really working very hard to schedule posts to ensure that there is a post daily.

I really appreciate those who give their comments and i read all of them but i will find time to reply them slowly.

Hello Kitty Inspired Nail

Today i painted a Hello Kitty french Tip design on my nails.
First i painted white french tips using Sally Hansen's Sheer Romance 1 Natural white.
Then i drew the Hello Kitty's face on the ring finger.
After that i added a line of glitter on the white french tips to make it look more elegant.
I also did a video tutorial about it and i'll upload it soon after i'm finished editing.

Togepi inspired nail art

I've been thinking real hard what design to do for this weekend and i finally thought of it!
Yes, its the Pokemom, Togepi!

I did this Togepi design, personally i really love it cause i really love Togepi from Pokemon.
I think its superr cute and i think these nails look abit childish but i still love it.
I used the tape for the zigzag for the 4th finger and brush to draw the eyes, mouth as well as the blue/red shapes on togepi's body.

Domokun inspired nail art

Hello everyone.

Today i did this Domokun inspired nail art.

I felt that it was actually quite easy to do and i love the effect. I hope you guys do too :)

I used Faceshop's brown, black, white and red to do this nail art.

Pink gradient nails with 3D acrylic ribbon

Hello everyone!

I did this set of pink gradient glitter nails for a friend of mine some time back.

It is really simple to do gradient nails and i painted the acrylic ribbon for her as well on her thumbs.

Pink candilicious nail art.

Today i made this pink candilicious nail arts consisting of stripes, polka dots, glitter pieces and blings!
I find it really attractive especially to pink lovers.
I used around 4 tones of pink polish and 1 white polish from Faceshop and Elianto.
I used a brush and dotting tool to do the stripes and polka dots.
The middle finger's big pieces of glitter are from a nail polish from Faceshop which seems to be really beautiful. It looks like those chocolate bits except its silver in color :)

What do you think about this theme?

Union Jack nail art

Remembered i painted OPI's Dating a Royal, so today i added a Union Jack Flag.
Like the one below.

I used white acrylic paint to paint the whites and red from Faceshop.
And i got the union jack flag on my middle finger ;)
I drew it freehand with a brush. I find it easier compared to a scotchtape cause u have to wait for it to fully dry and it will be a messy mess.

I hope you guys like it cause i really like it at my first attempt:)

White laced frenchtip nails

Did this set of bridal nails today!
It was an inspiration from Cutepolish on youtube.
I used scotchtape to tape it to paint the white diagonal french tip and you can use a toothpick/brush to draw the lace. You can check out her youtube channel.
Lastly, just add glitter. I find it really easy to do and really beautiful and classy !

Golden Gradient Nails

I did golden gradient nails today.
So i'll teach you how to get gradient nails.

Things that you will need are : basecoat, golden polish, golden glitter polish, top coat

1. Apply basecoat
2. Apply golden polish to half ur nail
3. Apply glitter polish to 3/4 of ur nail.
4. Apply top coat.

Its actually very simple to get gradient nails!

I'll show you tomorrow how to get nicer designs after having your gradient nails.

Newspaper nails #1

This is my first newspaper design (It kinda smudged but its still alright... I guess) !
If you do not know how to do it here are a few simple steps of how i did mine!

1. Paint basecoat
2. Paint color of your desire
3. Cut out small newspaper strips that you would like to use.
4. Place the newspaper strip on your designated nail and rub alcohol. Leave it for around 5-10mins?
5. Take out, let it dry
6. Paint top coat!

It is kind of easy but its pretty tedious and make sure you allow it to dry otherwise it will smudge pretty badly! Mine is counted quite bad..
I'll try to do a newspaper design #2 soon :)
Hopefully it will turn out better!!!

Faceshop's PK109

This pink is Faceshop's PK109.
This pink is not the super hot pink colour, but it still gives off a striking/bold look.
The colour is abit purple-ish pink in dark lightings.
I personally think that this colour is very pretty as it has a tint of purple in it as well.

Compared to other Faceshop's pinks swatches, this is the one of the brightest and strikiest pink!

Red with White Polka Dots

Polka dots had been a huge trend in Singapore for at least a year now.

The combination of red and white is sizzling hot!

I'm using Faceshop's RD301 and WH002.

The acrylic ribbon is self drawn.

It is a really simple design that will go well with almost anything!

This reminds me of Cath Kidston polka dots designs which were really common in early 2011.

No matter what, polka dots is a very easy design to do.

You can try using a back of a make up brush to do the polka dots or even back of pens.

This is definitely worthed trying!

Malaysia Haul!

I went to Malaysia for a short getaway trip and got some nail polishes loots there.

The prices there were like almost half price.

From left to right, Faceshop polishes, Elianto and Etude House.

The Faceshop polishes (Face It) cost RM 11.90 (SGD$4.85), in Singapore it cost around $7.90.

The Elianto Polishes were going at RM 5 each (SGD$2.04)

And the Etude House polishes were going at RM 11.90 each as well. In Singapore it cost around $7.90 as well.

I was really happy with my buys in Malaysia!
