Union Jack nail art
Remembered i painted OPI's Dating a Royal, so today i added a Union Jack Flag.
Like the one below.
I used white acrylic paint to paint the whites and red from Faceshop.
And i got the union jack flag on my middle finger ;)
I drew it freehand with a brush. I find it easier compared to a scotchtape cause u have to wait for it to fully dry and it will be a messy mess.
I hope you guys like it cause i really like it at my first attempt:)
YAY!
Thanks for reading ^^

Don't travel to the UK with those nails (and expect to not get beaten)! You've managed to draw the Union Jack from 1606, after Scotland was united with England under James I. In 1605, Catholic dissidents led by Guy Fawkes tried to blow up Parliament. They were executed in 1606, when the flag that you have drawn was codified. The English are very touchy about the whole situation, even after all these years. Your flag is missing the unification with Ireland under George III in 1800 - the red "X" in the flag. Funny thing is that afyer all these years, the Irish are very touchy about that whole situation, too.
Painting nails with tape is a pain, although Frogtape works well. Frogtape is a high-grade masking tape. If you freehand, consider going to an art store an buying a decent rigger brush to paint long fine lines.
Hey, thanks for your comment. I've kindly edited all the pictures. Really appreciated it!
Anyway thanks for your suggestion. And actually, i do use proper brushes, but I guess perhaps my skills aren't that superb yet. :)
